Our Founder
Greyhound Rescue West of England was founded in 1991 by Angela Yardley, who remains an active member of the GRWE team both locally in the Hereford area and in representing the charity on national welfare committees.

The Board of Trustees
Greyhound Rescue West Of England is a registered charity and the leading independent organisation in England and Wales working specifically to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned or abused greyhounds and greyhound crosses. The Charity has no employees and the Board of Trustees is responsible for the management of the Charity and for ensuring that the Charity works in pursuit of its stated Charitable Objectives - the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and abandoned greyhounds. Trustee positions at GRWE are not remunerated.
